AAB Racing Message Board

Some folks have asked about getting a message board.
Here's a freebie message board that I found. We'll see how this works.

You can write about such topics as: How did "Fishsticks" get his nickname, the latest gear/components or how I had to cut my Tuesday night ride short because I stuck my foot thru the back spokes doing those stupid one-legged drills.

Don't Forget to Renew or Buy Your License

Click on the USA Cycling link to register for your 2007 racing license. Make sure you register under the AAB Racing team (number 11533) when filling out your form.

There are several of us that registered under Chesapeake Cycling Club. I will send the membership coordinator the names and license numbers on Monday (1/29) to switch from CCC to AAB Racing for the following: Mitch, Jessica, Charles (Andy), Mike L, Steven and Albe.

As long as these changes are done within 30 days of when you purchased the license, then it's free. Otherwise it's $15.

If you need to change teams from CCC to AAB, send me an email.

Snowball Crit #1: Register on Bikereg.com

The registration is up for the first Snowball Crit on February 25th. Go to Bikereg.com to register.

Upcoming new races this year will be the "Conquer the Canal TT" on March 31st. This will be run on the Great Dismal Swamp Canal trail which is flat, fast and mostly protected from the wind. Hopefully, they'll sweep the gumballs off the course first. Check out the 2007 Race Schedule link for more races and info.

All About Bikes Racing Team Blog

All About Bikes-"from toddlers to the tour," is now in the process of creating a race team to support a selected group of cyclist within the community. This blog is here for our team members to communicate about group rides, upcoming events, and to deliver information on the latest cycling news. Everyone is more than welcome to take a glimpse into the racing scene of All About Bikes and its progress.

To acquire more information about the shop, its customer service, sales, and products, please visit the official All About Bikes website at www.allaboutbikes.org. Because of dedicated employees and customers, a racing team is finally on its way from talk and into action-one pedal stroke at a time. See you at the finish line. Thank you.
